Built for the People Who Respond First
PulseRoute was created to solve one problem: the handoff gap between dispatch, prehospital care, and the emergency department.
Our Story
Emergency medical services face a persistent challenge: fragmented communication. Dispatchers relay information over radio. Crews document patient data on clipboards or disconnected tablets. Receiving EDs piece together the clinical picture from brief verbal reports. At every transition, critical data is lost or delayed.
PulseRoute was designed to close those gaps. We built a cloud-native orchestration platform that connects every participant in the emergency response chain — from the 911 call to the ED bed assignment — through a single, real-time operational workflow.
Our approach is clinical-first. Instead of adapting generic logistics software to healthcare, we started with the protocols, data structures, and time pressures that EMS crews and emergency clinicians operate under every day. Dynamic dispatching, live telemetry, digital triage, and hospital capacity matching are not separate modules — they are parts of one coordinated system built for speed, clarity, and accuracy.
Today, PulseRoute serves EMS agencies, hospital emergency departments, and municipal health authorities who need measurable improvements in response time, handoff quality, and resource allocation.
Mission & Values
Our mission is to give emergency teams fast, clinically focused tools that surface the right live information clearly — so teams act quickly and coordinate safer handoffs.
Reliable Under Pressure
Every component is built for mission-critical uptime. When lives depend on data freshness and system availability, PulseRoute delivers predictable, dependable performance — even on degraded networks.
Clear by Design
Information is presented without noise. From dispatch summaries to vitals trends, every screen is designed for rapid comprehension and minimal cognitive load during high-stakes decisions.
Clinical-First
We orient around clinical workflows and protocol fidelity. Our forms, data views, and decision prompts are structured for clinicians — not generic task management.
Optimized for Speed
Every interaction is minimized. Auto-filled fields, immediate ETA updates, and streaming-first media controls reduce friction in the critical path from dispatch to handoff.
How We Build
- Prioritize urgent information — we surface the single most important item first and make secondary details discoverable.
- Make status explicit — every live connection, ETA, and data stream shows freshness and health at a glance.
- Minimize interactions in critical flows — reduce steps, auto-complete repetitive fields, and enable quick acknowledgments.
- Speak clinical-first — label, group, and format content to match clinical workflows and handoff documentation.
- Fail gracefully and guide recovery — when connectivity or systems fail, we explain impact, offer clear next steps, and preserve collected data.
